  • NAGF Quarterly Member WebEx – 2Q2021
    The NAGF holds quarterly webinars to enhance communication and engage NAGF members regarding recent NAGF activities, upcoming initiatives, and acquire member feedback regarding activities of interest. The second quarter webinar of 2021 was held on June 17th with over 100 participants. The agenda/meeting minutes and webinar recording are available in the NAGF Groupsite file cabinet under the “NAGF Meetings Information\Quarterly Member Meetings\2021” folder.
  • NERC Project 2019-06: Cold Weather – Revised Standards Adopted by NERC
    During the NERC Board of Trustees (BOT) Open Meeting was held on June 11th, the BOT adopted the following standards documents and authorize staff to file with FERC for approval:

TOP-003-5

Implementation Plan

Violation Risk Factors and Violation Severity Levels

Now that Project 2019-06 is complete, the NAGF Cold Weather Preparedness Working Group will focus on identifying value add activities regarding the EOP-011 new requirements R7 – implement and maintain one or more cold weather preparedness plan(s) for its generating units and R8 – training.

  • FERC, NARUC to Establish Joint Federal-State Task Force on Electric Transmission
    On June 17, 2021, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners announced the formation of a joint Federal-state task force on electric transmission. Members of this first-of-its-kind task force will explore transmission-related issues to identify and realize the benefits that transmission can provide, while ensuring that the costs are allocated efficiently and fairly.
