• NAGF CIP Working Group – New Chair person
  The NAGF CIPWG has been looking for a new leader since June 2020. I am happy to report that Matthew Hartung – Regulatory Compliance Manager for EDP Renewables North America has volunteered to lead this important working group for the NAGF. It is anticipated that the NAGF CIPWG will restart monthly conference calls/webinars in July 2021.
• Hold The Date: 2021 NAGF 2Q Member Webinar – June 17^th 01:00-02:00 pm EST
  The NAGF holds quarterly webinars as a way to engage membership regarding recent NAGF activities, FERC/NERC initiatives, and acquire feedback on activities of interest going forward. The subject webinar has been added to the NAGF Groupsite calendar. The webinar agenda is located in the NAGF Groupsite file cabinet under the “NAGF Meeting Information\Quarterly Member Meetings\2021” folder.
• BPS-Connected Battery Energy Storage Systems and Hybrid Power Plants Webinar
  NERC announced the subject webinar will be held July 15, 2021 01:00-03:00 pm Eastern. The NERC Inverter-Based Resource Performance Working Group (IRPWG) recently published Reliability Guideline: Performance, Modeling, and Simulations of BPS-Connected Battery Energy Storage Systems and Hybrid Power Plants. The guideline provides recommended performance characteristic for BPS-connected BESSs and hybrid plants that Generator Owners and project developers should consider. The webinar will review and provide the opportunity for discussion regarding this Reliability Guideline.
