  • FERC Technical Conference on Resource Adequacy in the Evolving Energy Sector
    The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission will convene a Commissioner-led virtual technical conference on Tuesday March 23, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm Eastern. The purpose of this technical conference is to initiate a dialog between Commissioners and stakeholders on how to prepare for an increasingly electrified future.   • NAGF Physical Security Working Group
    The new NAGF Physical Security Working Group held its inaugural virtual meeting on February 25, 2021. This focus of this working group is to share generator physical security issues as well as promote physical security practices, threat mitigation strategies, incident prevention/response, training, and other relevant topics to enhance generator physical security and reliability. Minutes from the February 25th meeting are available in the NAGF Groupsite PSWG file cabinet under the “2021 Meetings” folder. This working group is open to all NAGF members.   • NERC’s Jim Robb Testimony at Senate Energy and Natural Resources Hearing
    Jim Robb, president and CEO of NERC, testified at the Senate Energy and Natural Resources committee hearing held on March 11, 2021. The hearing examined the reliability, resiliency and affordability of electric service. The webcast recording and witness testimonies are available on the committee’s website.
