NAGF News Bullets for Bi-Week ending 12/3/2021

• NERC Project 2021-07: Extreme Cold Weather Grid Ops, Preparedness, and Coordination draft SAR

The primary purpose of this project is to address reliability related findings from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), NERC, and Regional Entity Joint Staff Inquiry into the February 2021 Cold Weather Grid Operations. The project scope will address nine recommendations for new or enhanced NERC Reliability Standards proposed by the report. A draft SAR has been developed and is available for industry comment through 12-21-2021. The NAGF Cold Weather Preparedness working group will lead the effort to develop NAGF comments for submittal.
