NERC/NAGF Workshop and GridSecCon 2019

NAGF – ESIG Battery Storage. Frequency Response and DER Workshop

The NERC/NAGF/ESIG Battery Storage, Frequency Response and Distributed Energy Resources Workshop to be held at the NERC Washington, D.C. Office and Atlanta Offices on Tuesday, September 17th – 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Wednesday, September 18th – 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The workshop will discuss the growing technical, operational and economic concerns of the changing resource mix. The workshop agenda is currently being finalized. The NAGF will provide additional information to membership regarding this workshop as it becomes available.

GridSecCon 2019

NERC announced GridSecCon 2019, October 22-25, 2019 to be held at the Westin Peachtree Plaza. The conference will bring together cyber and physical security experts from industry and government to share emerging security trends, policy advancements, and lessons learned related to the electricity industry. NERC is seeking expertise to produce the most rewarding sessions for grid security professionals and is interested in views on best practices and the challenges industry faces.
