- NAGF will submit comments for 2020-06 Verifications of Models and Data for Generators| MOD-026-2 Draft 1 this week on Wednesday, the 18th of June. The information that we will comment on can be found here: Unofficial Comment Form Project 2020-06 Verifications of Models and Data for Generators MOD-026-2 – Verification of Models and Data Standard. Members are encouraged to send any feedback reference this project to jmerlo@generatorfoum.net or (404) 387-5249, by the end of the business day on Tuesday the 17th. We will have it to the Advisory committee first thing Wednesday morning for approval and posting before the end of that day. - A 30-day informal comment period for the Project 2025-01 Canadian-Specific Revisions to EOP-012-3 Standard Authorization Request (SAR), is open through 8 p.m. Eastern, Thursday, June 26, 2025. Use the Standards Balloting and Commenting System (SBS) to submit comments. An unofficial Word version of the comment form is posted on the project page. NAGF will send a document around to collect comments and post our comments NLT 8 p.m. Eastern, Thursday, June 26, 2025.
- Several NATF members attended the NERC Industry Engagement Workshop for FERC Order 901, Milestone 3 next week: June 3-5, 2025 at the Ritz-Carlton in Pentagon City (Arlington, VA)

- The NERC LLTF was established in August 2024 under the Reliability and Security Technical Committee (RSTC) to address potential reliability risks associated with emerging large loads, such as AI data centers and hydrogen production facilities. The group’s first milestone was to outline the characteristics and risks related to these emerging large loads in a white paper titled “Characteristics and Risks of Emerging Large Loads.”
- The Reliability and Security Technical Committee (RSTC) second quarter meeting was held June 10, 2025 in Folsom, CA. The meeting materials for this meeting have been posted on the NERC website. This was a hybrid meeting and was held in-person and virtually.
- Standards Announcement: Project 2017-01 Modifications to BAL-003 – Phase II Supplemental Drafting Team Nomination Period Open through July 15, 2025
Nominations are being sought for supplemental drafting team members through 8 p.m. Eastern, Tuesday, July 15, 2025. Use the electronic form to submit a nomination. Contact Cindy Jackson regarding issues using the electronic form. An unofficial Word version of the nomination form is posted on the Standard Drafting Team Vacancies page and the project page.
