The NAGF held a conference call on March 25, 2020 for member companies to share mitigating activities, best practices, and possible future actions to address the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Disease. The conference call notes are posted to the NAGF Groupsite file cabinet under the “Member Communications\COVID-19 Best Practices Discussion 3-25-2020” directory.

On March 18, 2020, FERC and NERC announced steps to ensure that operators of the bulk electric system can focus their resources on keeping people safe and the lights on during this unprecedented public health emergency. The announcement stated that FERC and NERC will consider the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak in complying with Reliability Standards (https://www.ferc.gov/media/news-releases/2020/2020-1/03-18-20.asp).

The NAGF held a conference call on March 26, 2020 to discuss the announcement and obtain feedback from its members as a first step to developing follow up questions/information requests for submittal. The NAGF comments were finalized and forwarded to NERC on April 2, 2020. The NAGF comments are posted to the NAGF Groupsite file cabinet under the “Member Communications\NERC Announcement-Guideline for Reg Relief COVID-19” directory.
