- Reliability Technical Conference – October 16, 2024
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission will convene its annual Commissioner-led Reliability Technical Conference on Large Loads Co-Located at Generating Facilities, Docket No.: AD24-11-00. The Conference is currently scheduled for Wednesday, October 16, 2024, from approximately 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Eastern time. The conference will be held in-person and available to view online. A supplemental notice will follow.

- ERO Enterprise to Perform Blackstart Study of Eastern, Western Interconnections
ERO Enterprise staff, in collaboration with FERC, will conduct a joint review of the availability and readiness of the blackstart generators during cold weather conditions in the U.S. portions of the Eastern and Western Interconnections as recommended by Winter Storm Elliott report.

- ERO Enterprise Identifies Four Risk Themes Related to CIP Reliability Standards Challenging Some Entities
NERC and the six Regional Entities have identified four risk themes that have made it difficult for some entities to mitigate risks associated with the NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Reliability Standards. The ERO Enterprise developed the 2024 CIP Themes and Lessons Learned report
