• NERC MRC/BOT February 2023 Meeting – NAGF Policy Input

The NAGF developed and submitted Policy Input to the NERC Member Representatives Committee (MRC) and Board of Trustees (BOT) in preparation for the NERC BOT meeting scheduled for February 16, 2023. The NAGF Policy Input provides comments related to improving prioritization of NERC work activities and effective engagement /use of resources. The NAGF submittal and Request for Policy Input letter are available in the NAGF website file cabinet under the “NERC Board Reports\2023” folder.

• New NAGF Markets and Policy Working Group

The NAGF is expanding its working group offerings to include a new NAGF Markets and Policy working group. This working group will be focused on FERC, NERC, and other government entity activities that impact energy markets as well as energy policies applicable to electric generators. It is anticipated that this new working group will meet monthly or more frequently as needed. The working group is open at all existing NAGF members, especially those with regulatory policy experience. The NAGF website will be updated to incorporate this new working group in the coming weeks.
